House Fitz
Vaucluse, Sydney
A renovation like House Fitz doesn’t just work within its existing structure. It makes way for an almost-entirely new build – and brings with it plenty of opportunities to elevate the quality of construction from the foundation up.
We began this major project by demolishing the original house down to its ground floor slab level, before reconstructing and re-configuring all of the internal walls of the ground and lower ground floors. An existing foyer became a double-level atrium. An additional third level was added, featuring five bedrooms, ensuites and a sprawling rooftop deck that offered panoramic views over the harbour and up to Manly.
