Bay House

The opportunity to work with clients again is something we’re always thrilled by. This was the case with this three-level, ground-floor apartment in Elizabeth Bay – which we were tasked with repurposing internally. Doing so with two apartments above us required considerably out-of-the-box thinking and specialist building methods.
The new apartment has an open character, allowing for connections to striking views of Sydney Harbour that weren’t previously possible. We transformed the main level – which previously included a kitchen area and bedroom – to be dedicated entirely to day-to-day living, opening out to a large deck. The master bedroom and ensuite are now based where the below-ground living area was before.
